On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Cologne Philharmonic Mouse on Mars were commissioned to compose Paeanumnion a hybrid between contemporary classical and avant-garde electronic music. The composition by Jan St. Werner and Andi Toma translates their idiosyncratic use of abstract electronic sounds into the world of acoustic instrumentation.
